During your PhD track, you are obliged to meet certain requirements and conditions. Along with working on a manuscript, you must take some formal steps to set you up for your PhD track and eventually your graduation.

Education and Supervision plan

An important part of being a PhD candidate at the Graduate School of Science entails following a training programme that is tailor-made to your PhD track. A candidate must arrange this when they start, and then complete it during the entire course of their PhD track.

A course on Scientific Conduct is an obligatory activity for all PhD candidates at the Faculty of Science. The course will focus on the grey areas in scientific integrity dilemmas and your role as an individual scientist to prevent misconduct.
