SPOC Dutch & More for students
The Academic Language Centre invites international students who are going to study or are studying at Leiden University to participate in the free online course ‘Dutch & More’. In five online lessons, you will learn the basics of the Dutch language and you will get to know student life in the city of Leiden and The Hague better. The online course is continuously available for international students.

Course information
The course uses standard language learning elements such as vocabulary, grammar and sentence formation, and gives students the opportunity to get to know the Dutch language in an accessible and fun way. The lessons are based on realistic scenarios from the life of an international student at Leiden University. The market in Leiden, a student house and the beach at Scheveningen all feature in the film.

Follow-up course
Students who have completed the SPOC successfully and are enrolled at Leiden University are entitled to do the Dutch 1B course at the Academic Language Centre at a reduced rate of €85 instead of €245. For more information on this course, click here.
