Report: Online Campus The Hague Career Week – view the recorded sessions!

From 12 to 16 April the joint Career Services of the faculties present on Campus The Hague organised the Online Campus The Hague Career Week. Every day of the week, students could join presentations, webinars and workshops presented by alumni, professionals and Career advisors, that help them prepare for their future career.

On Monday, Associate Professor Jos Akkermans kicked of the event by mentioning the importance of sustainable careers and confirmed that a career can be a chaotic path. Not to worry, your first job is just a starting point. Your career will be an ongoing cycle and you’re in control.

Other webinars included a session about ‘Working after your Bachelor degree’, ‘How to find an internship’ and the event even visited Belgium during the sessions “Working in Brussels” and “Working at NATO”. Furthermore, throughout the week students could have their CV and LinkedIn profiles checked by Career advisors, watch Career Development Bootcamps and learn about how to dress to impress during a job interview.

Recorded sessions: where to find them?

Were you not able to attend some of the sessions? Most of the sessions and the career bootcamp videos can be viewed on www.universiteitleiden.nl/cthce
