About the team
The Citizen Science Lab is located within the Center for Science and Technology Studies (CWTS) in the Faculty of Social Sciences.

Pavement Plants
At almost midway through, the “Stoeplanten” (Pavement Plants) citizen science project has been very successful. This research was initiated by Nienke Beets, who while working for the Science Communication and Society research group and Hortus Botanicus, gave her contribution to the Stoeplanten project.

Leiden BuurtKennis
BuurtKennis (Neighbourhood Knowledge) is a new citizen science project that sources local research questions from neighbourhoods within Leiden and connects residents with green and biodiversity initiatives, researchers, and institutions to co-create solutions for a healthy living environment.
