Symposium on Insect-Plant Interactions 2020
We like to welcome you warmly to the 17th Symposium on Insect-Plant relationships in Leiden from the 26th to the 30th of July 2020 as the organising committee.
We will follow the lead of previous SIPs and address the latest developments in research on the relationships between plants, insects and associated microorganisms, from physiological mechanisms to ecological and evolutionary processes.
The venue of SIP2020 will be a lecture hall in the Kamerlingh Onnes Building at Leiden University. The Institute of Biology Leiden (IBL) is organising SIP2020 together with Naturalis Biodiversity Center, located as well in the City of Leiden. Leiden is not well-known for its’ university and Naturalis only, it also shows a history dating back to the Romans. Just to say, the painter Rembrandt was born in Leiden and you may find various elements of his life in the city, including some paintings.
Registration is open from 2 September 2019 to 30 June 2020, except we have been arrived at the maximum number of participants of 200. If so, we will close the registration earlier. The submission of abstracts will close by the first of May 2020.
See you in Leiden,
