Perspectives on Registered Reports
Abstract: What are the nuts and bolts of conducting a registered report study? What should you think of in advance and what are the advantages and disadvantages? Having gone through the tedious but valuable process of submitting an RR himself a couple of times, Michiel is happy to share some insights and recommendations for setting up a good registered report study. Furthermore, he will elaborate on a grant that finances RRs.
Lotte will talk about how Registered Reports are not just for replications. She will provide a short overview of the review process and a discussion of the pros and cons of having your research reviewed before data collection.
