How does it work?
Registration
1. Choose Your Course
Browse our full course catalogue and select the course that best matches your interests or learning goals.
2. Log In
To access our courses, you can log in in several ways:
Staff and Students of Leiden University or LUMC
Log in via SURFconext using your ULCN account. Select your institution from the list and use your usual login credentials.
Other Users
Not a staff member or student of Leiden University or LUMC?
You can log in via SURFconext using an eduID (which can be created via eduid.nl), or choose ‘Other Login’.
Don’t have an account yet? You can easily create one via the panel next to this text.
Once logged in, you will have immediate access to your personal learning environment.
3. Payment
The payment method depends on who is covering the course fee:
- Paying yourself: You can pay directly via iDEAL or credit card during registration.
- Employer pays: Your employer will receive an invoice at the billing address provided.
Your registration is only final once the payment has been received.
4. Registration Confirmation
Once your registration and payment are complete, you will receive a confirmation email. This contains all practical information about the course and the schedule.
5. Course Start
One week before the course begins, you will receive a reminder with additional information, such as the instructor, classroom, or access to the online learning environment.
Please note: Before registering, make sure you have read the cancellation policy and general terms and conditions.
Cancellation
If you are no longer able to participate in a course, you can unregister via the Course Portal. Please follow these steps:
- Log in to the Course Portal.
- Select the course you wish to unregister from.
- Click on ‘Manage Course’.
- The course page will open. Click ‘Unregister’ in the top right corner.
- Enter the reason for your cancellation.
- Click ‘Complete’.
Once completed, you will receive a confirmation of your cancellation. Your request will be sent to the administration office for review. Please refer to the cancellation policy to see which conditions apply to your situation.
Evaluation
The evaluation will be available from the last day of the course. You can complete it via the Course Portal.
- Step 1: Log in to the Course Portal
- Step 2: Scroll down to Evaluation
- Step 3: Open the Evaluation
- Step 4: Complete the Evaluation
- Step 5: Submit the Evaluation
