LUCIS Research Programme Grant
From 2018 until 2020, LUCIS manages various research programmes to boost interfaculty and interdisciplinary cooperation and to widen the involvement of LUCIS members. As from 2018, an annual call for proposals for the development of various research programmes is open.
LUCIS Research Programme Grant
A LUCIS Research Programme Grant offers funding to cover the expenses of activities that give shape to a specific research programme that appeals to a larger group of LUCIS members.
Activities may include (a combination of) a conference, lecture (series), workshop/seminar etc. and are intended to open up or highlight new areas of research. Applicants are encouraged to include an event that appeals to a larger audience beyond specialists.
To widen the involvement of LUCIS members with various disciplinary backgrounds and to build structural cooperation, at least three LUCIS members should apply for this grant.
This type of funding includes
- Funding up to a maximum of € 7500 to cover material expenses (travel, accommodation, catering, publicity)
- Student assistance
Deadlines
- 15 September 2019 for activities scheduled in 2020
General requirements and eligibility
- Applications are open only to LUCIS members
- Apply with at least 3 LUCIS members
- Grantees are required to submit a report after the grant period (max. 3 pages)
Evaluation of proposals
Proposals will be evaluated primarily in terms of innovative potential, multi-disciplinary, cross-regional,or cross-temporal integration and academic excellence. The LUCIS steering committee will assess applications for a LUCIS Research Programme Grant.
