Why I chose Leiden University

I chose to study in Leiden because I discovered it was one of the oldest universities in The Netherlands and because of its academic excellence. Its ratings as one of the best Universities in the world increased my interest in the university and made me want to study there.

My Leiden experiences

I can say my time of study was interesting. I enjoyed the lectures I received as the lectures where always  in-depth. The lecturers were always concerned to ensure that assignments were completed as and when due. The town was a quiet easy going town but with lots of canals. The students were helpful and supportive.

What I am doing now

Presently, I am a Director in the Delta State Ministry of Justice located in the capital city of Asaba. I head the department of Law Research, Review, Reporting and Publications.

My reasons for becoming a Leiden Ambassador

I want to become a Leiden Ambassador because it will not only help me keep in touch with my alma mater and to assist in any way I can to the positive growth of the university, but it would also enable me to meet new and interesting people from different parts of the world.
