Malfunction remote service.
There is currently a disruption with our remote service. Work can still be done, but please take into account dropped sessions. For a solution, we depend on an external party.

SOLVED: Problems with logging in to Office applications from outside the University netwerk
Currently there are issues with logging in to Office applications from outside the university network. Users may experience these issues through both the local applications and the web versions of Office products.

SOLVED: Webmail calendar not editable
There are issues with the webmail calendar. All existing appointments are visible, but they cannot be edited and no new items can be added.

SOLVED: Printing not possible
Currently, printing can only be done to Lu-Card printers between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm, printing to other local or network printers is not possible.

SOLVED: Students cannot be found within Teams
At the start of this week there has been a problem searching for students in MS Teams. For example, as soon as you look up someone to add to a team, you will only encounter employees and guests.

Remote Desktop, Remote Control, Software installation are not possible at the moment with SCCM.

Warning: phishing emails in circulation
Since Monday, December 13, 2021, large numbers of phishing emails are being sent to Leiden University’s employees and students. These emails contain a link to a fake ‘Leiden University’ login page in order to steal accounts and passwords.

UPDATE: Printing not possible
Due to a malfunction, it is currently not possible to print or create pdf files. To fix this interruption we are dependent on a Microsoft update. We are currently looking for a workaround.
