SOLVED: Issues Citrix (Remote workplace)
Multiple applications cannot be started on Citrix (Remote workplace)
Description of the problem
Multiple users indicate that various applications cannot start via Citrix (Remote Workplace). The Citrix servers do not provide any error(s), a few sessions seems to start up. However, most sessions are not set up after the initial start-up.
The problems are now being investigated.
Update 11:30
Various tests and analyzes have been executed, but no clear issue has been found yet, as to what causes the instability. There is contact with the supplier (Citrix) to find and solve the cause.
- Citrix server(s) are functioning as expected, no problems were found here.
- There are 900 active users logged on. It is unclear whether they can all start an application successfully.
- For users who encounters issues, everything starts up until the app is almost finished loading and will then close without a sign.
- The way of starting up the Remote Workspace makes no difference (browser type, light version of Citrix or managed / semi-managed workplace).
- Problem seems to occur mainly on Windows devices
Update 13:45
The service is available again, there are no more issues at the Remote Workplace services. Applications can be started again without interruption. The cause is not yet known, this is still being investigated.
