Staff who were logged on to the the university network on Wednesday 31 May after 16:00 are probably encountering problems with logging on to their Windows 10 laptop. Their login details are not recognised. The cause of this problem is in connection with a change in the Windows environment.

Solution

To be able to log on to your university laptop as quickly as possible, you will need to come to the campus and restart your laptop within the university network.

· Are you on campus? Then restart your laptop. You should allow for a period of an hour before everything works again.

· Are you working online? If so, please come to the campus. Restart your laptop within the university network. You should allow for a period of an hour before everything works again.

· If you cannot come to the campus, then log on to the Remote workplace via a non-managed laptop https://remote.campus.leidenuniv.nl or via Office 365

· What should you do if you are outside the Netherlands and cannot come to the campus at short notice? Please call the helpdesk (+31 71 527 8888). Please take into consideration that it may take a few works days for a solid workaround.
