Practical information

Below you will find the most important practical information. This information will be updated in the coming period.

Pick up race numbers

You can pick up your race number on Tuesday 17 June (16:00–18:00 hr) or Thursday 19 June (12:00–15:00 hr) in the main hall of the Gorlaeus Building (Einsteinweg 55, Leiden). One team member can collect race numbers for the entire team. Prefer to collect it on the day itself? No problem – team registration opens at 08:30 hr in the Gorlaeus Building. Make sure your team is registered before 09:30 hr. Bonus: participants who pick up their race numbers on 17 or 19 June will receive a free Leiden Science running shirt!

Changing facilities

On the ground floor of the Gorlaeus Building, several rooms are available where you can leave your belongings. Please note that these rooms will not be locked, so using them is at your own risk. If you’d like to change clothes, you can use one of the toilet facilities. To avoid loss or theft, we recommend leaving valuables at home.

First Aid

First aid staff will be present throughout the day. Need medical assistance? Please report to the registration/information desk or go directly to the first aid station located under the stairs of the Lecture Hall.

Access and parking

We recommend taking public transport or coming to the Leiden Science Run by bike. Coming by car? Then you can park your car in the Ehrenfestgarage (Ehrenfestweg 1).

Catering

At the end of the Leiden Science Run, participants will receive a banana and water. During the event, coffee, tea, water, and soft drinks will be available for purchase.
