Vote for the University and Faculty Council (8-11 April 2019)

From 8 to 11 April 2019 university elections will take place again. As a student you can vote for your representatives in the University Council and the Faculty Council. As a staff member, you can vote for your representatives in the Faculty Council and/or the Employee Council.

Why vote?

Leiden University regards co-participation as extremely important: the right to take part in discussions, and thus to have an influence on the decision-making. Co-participation leads to better decisions that have more support.

Online voting system

The elections take place online. To vote you must use your ULCN account. From 8 April 2019 (9 am) you can use this account to log in to the election application. You can cast your vote until April 11, 2019 (4 pm) at the latest.

Eligible voters

Eligible to vote is:

  • Anyone who is an employee of Leiden University and works in one of the units where elections are held;
  • Anyone who is registered as a student of Leiden University on the election date.

Candidates student section elections University Council 2019 (Dutch only)

For the students' section of the University Council, the Central Elections Office has accepted the nomination for six lists.
