Workshop: Interdisciplinary Research Design for Global Studies
The interdisciplinary research initiative on Global Transformations and Governance Challenges (GTGC) will organize a workshop on interdisciplinary research design for Global Studies on April 17, 15.00-17.00 at Wijnhaven, room 3.18. This workshop aims to help researchers at humanities and social sciences to design research projects relating to global studies. It will start with a presentation by Professor McCarty, a leading scholar in the field and coauthor of the book The Global Turn: Theories, Research Designs, and Methods for Global Studies. The presentation will be followed by an interactive workshop where researchers can ask general questions about global research, their own research design, or any design issues they have encountered during their research.
