The Hague Green Team
The Green Teams were launched by the Leiden University Green Office (LUGO) in 2023 to bring sustainability directly into faculty buildings. Each team represents LUGO at their faculty, supports the implementation of sustainability policies, and develops its own projects and events. The Hague Green Team launched in 2024, and is based at Campus the Hague.
About Us
Welcome to the Hague Green Team!
Our team is made up out of a variety of different academic backgrounds, with three members studying their masters degree ranging from Governance of Sustainability, to Crisis and Security Management. Further members include International Relations and Organizations as well as Linguistics. We all work together to bring a diverse array of events to our campus!
Our focus as a Green Team is to nurture a culture of sustainaibility in our faculties, as well as create the opportunities for like minded students to exchange and motivate each other on various topics all centered around living more sustainable lives. From movie nights, to insightful talks by proffessionals - we offer it all.
We strive to create a culture of sustainability, where sustainability isn’t just discussed, but lived: where environmental responsibility is woven into day-to-day decisions, where students and staff feel empowered to contribute ideas and take action, and where our collective efforts help build a environmentally conscious academic community.
