Avond van de Wetenschap & Maatschappij 2019
On the evening of the 7th of October, Prof. dr. Corinne Hofman and Dr. Joseph Sony Jean will attend the Dutch annual Avond van de Wetenschap & Maatschappij (Night of Science & Society).
Table Scientists
The Night of Science is an annual event organised by the Stichting De Avond van Wetenschap & Maatschappij. The aim of the event is to emphasize the societal relevance of science by showcasing how and when science is implemented in everyday life.
During this evening, 25 top scientists from Dutch universities and universities of applied sciences, sit down to have dinner with prominent figures from other sectors of society to discuss their research. These discussions are aimed at deepening understanding of how scientific innovations make essential contributions to a well-functioning society.
Corinne Hofman and Joseph Sony Jean were invited to contribute to this evening as 'Table Scientists' to discuss their research with other invited guests.
