This symposium has been organized as part of the activities to celebrate the 500 anniversary of the city of Santiago de Cuba (Cuba).
The goal is to foster synergies between History and Archaeology, contributing to a better understanding of the pre-colonial history of the Caribbean, in general, and Cuba in particular.
Jorge Ulloa Hung, Roberto Valcárcel Rojas and Jana Pesoutova, researchers from Nexus1492, actively participated in the organization of the symposium. More info in Spanish
