The members of Young Academy Leiden do research on a large variety of topics. In our first (and perhaps only) LEGO ‘show-us-what-you-do’ challenge, they all made a short movie on their own research, using only LEGO. Watch their movies here.

On the 14th of February, YAL members and other young academics met while engaging in discussions about academia with an eye on the future and discovering how YAL can be a platform to empower young academics.

The community & communication workgroup serves as an umbrella that – in addition to its own activities – works with all three workgroups on the community and communication related aspects of their activities

YAL organises young faculty lunches at all Leiden University faculties. Additionally, we organise young interfaculty lunches to bring together young academics from across the university.

YAL connects academics to society.
