Call for workshop proposals

The submission for workshop proposals at the RAI68 is now open!

Between 1 December 2022 and 31 January 2023 we welcome workshop proposals via our e-mail.

A workshop must consist of 6 lecture slots of 30 minutes each (i.e. one full morning or afternoon session) of which the first or the last slot may be reserved for introductory remarks or a general discussion. Workshops of 9 or 12 slots will also be considered; due to programming restrictions they might have to be scheduled on two separate days.

We strongly encourage workshop organizers to assemble the list of speakers at least partly through an open call for applications, at their own discretion and initiative.

A proposal should contain the following information:

  • name of the organizer(s);
  • title of the workshop;
  • aim of the workshop;
  • a list of speakers with a preliminary title and brief description of their papers;
  • a brief statement on whether an open call for applications was organized.

We will send a notification of acceptance or rejection by 15 February 2023 at the latest. If the proposal is accepted, the speakers will be required to upload their abstracts individually in the general submission system for paper abstracts before 31 March.
