In your third year of research you are required to submit a press release. This press release focuses on the background of your research, the pertinent research questions, the main results and the conclusions of your research in the context of the relevance to society.

Goal

The goal of writing this press release is to develop your skills in communicating the content of your research to the general public.

Course 

For third year PhD candidates we organize the PhD course "Writing of Science Press Releases". The aim is to help you developping this skill. The lecturer is prof. Jos van den Broek (Science, Communication & Society).
