Asian Library open
The new Asian Library at Leiden University is now open for use. Located on a new floor on top of the University Library at the Witte Singel, it is available for students and researchers of Asian languages and cultures.

The Asian Library holds the world's largest collection of works on Indonesia, and also houses major collections containing unique material on countries in South and Southeast Asia, China, Japan and Korea. In total, the library has more than 30 kilometres of material available for research and teaching on Asia, ranging from prints and books to manuscripts, photos, maps and much more.
Modern facilities
The new Asian Library offers modern facilities for research and teaching, including diverse study and conference rooms and a film hall. The official opening of the Library takes place later this year, on 14 September.
