Advisory Council

Tasks of the Advisory Council

The Advisory Council is made up of seven representatives of the institute members.

The members are appointed for two years by the Dean on recommendation of the Academic Director.

The council may make proposals and submit points of view on all matters on which the Academic Director of the institute can decide. For certain issues, such as the budget, reorganization of the institute and other policy issues on which a decision must be made, the Academic Director will consult the advisory board first.

The board and the Management Team (comprising the Academic Director, Director of Studies and Institute Manager) usually meet about every three months.

The current Advisory Council members are:

  • Prof. dr. P.T.M.G. Liebregts, chairman
  • Dr. A.M. Rademaker (Greek and Latin language and culture), secretary
  • Dr. S.L.A Brandellero (Latin American Studies)
  • Dr. E.A. Steinbock (Literature)
  • Céline Zaepffel
