During this Experience Day, you will gain a broader insight in what it is like to study Population Health Management. You will follow mini lectures and work on a case study about one of the real challenges in our health care system.
Next to that, you will have the opportunity to talk to our alumni and master staff about the master programme, career aspects and any other questions you may have. Also, our student ambassadors are present to tell you more about the life as a PHM student.

Get to know each other | 14:30 - 14:45
You’ll start the day by meeting your fellow Experience Day students and getting to know each other in small groups.
Alumni Q&A | 14:50 - 15:25
What comes after graduation? In this interactive session, two (or maybe even three) alumni will join us online to share their journey after completing the programme. From first job applications to stepping into the professional field – they’ll give you an honest glimpse into what to expect. You’ll also have the chance to ask them anything you want about their experiences, career paths, and tips for navigating life after your studies.
Get to know PHM | 15:30 - 16:00
Discover what makes Population Health Management unique. The programme director Marc will explain the key differences between PHM and other master’s programmes. In addition, he will discuss job opportunities and career prospects associated with obtaining a degree in Population Health Management.
Guest lecture | 16:10 - 16:30
Curious about what it’s like to follow a real lecture in this programme? During this 20-minute session, you’ll get a taste of the curriculum with a guest lecture from one of our academic staff. The exact topic will be announced on this page soon, but you can already expect an engaging preview that gives you a feel for the kind of lectures and discussions you can look forward to as a student.
Mini Case study | 16:30 - 17:10
Time to apply what you’ve learned! In small groups, you’ll work on a real-life healthcare challenge and present your solution in a short pitch. By working on this challenge, you will get a good insight and feeling on what Population Health Management contains and what it obtains. Second-year students will be there to guide you.
Ask us anything | 17:10 - 18:15
This is one of the most valuable parts of the Experience Day. Over free drinks and bites, you can talk one-on-one with current PHM students and staff of the Master Population Health Management. This is your chance to ask anything about the programme, career opportunities, or student life and get personal advice tailored to your own situation. You’ll have the time to connect, exchange ideas, and get concrete guidance for your next steps. Don’t miss out — join us for an inspiring close to the day, full of valuable insights and great conversations.
