Join the conversation online

Want to have your say on the future of Leiden University? On our teaching, research and the organisation itself? Register for one or more online meetings on 25 and 28 June and you’ll be able to discuss this with other students and staff.

In May hundreds of students and staff took part in a series of online dialogues and shared their ideas and opinions on various topics for the strategic plan. The results will be sent to the work groups and project teams that are preparing advice for the strategic plan.

Next step: online meetings

For the next step we are inviting students and staff to join a number of online meetings where we will explore certain themes in more depth. These interactive sessions will be with the work groups and project teams that are preparing the advice. This will keep the lines of communication short: the work groups and project teams will bring the results of the dialogue sessions to the meetings and will be able to incorporate the input from the meetings in their advice.

Each meeting will start with a plenary and the group will then divide into smaller groups to discuss different topics. When registering for a session, you can state your preferred topics. The topics on the menu will include:

  • student well-being
  •  sustainability on the curriculum
  •  collaboration with societal partners
  •  leadership
