This research profile area is based in 2 interdisciplinary research networks:

• the Leiden Institute for Brain and Cognition, i.e., a network of researchers from 4 faculties (LUMC, Social and Behavioural Sciences, Humanities, Science), and
• the Leiden Centre for Translational Neuroscience, i.e., a partnership between preclinical, clinical and technological research groups involved in brain research.
