Public Administration (research) (MSc)
This two-year programme trains ambitious students to critically analyse and tackle real-life problems in the public sector and public sector organisations. It equips you with cutting edge theory and advanced methodological skills to conduct independent public policy research.
Our graduates are extremely positive in their evaluation of the programme. It is unique in its collaboration with political science and provides you with state of the art expertise in both politics and administration.
What is more, you will follow courses in The Hague, the political and administrative center of the Netherlands, in the vicinity of the ministries, the International Court of Justice and the embassies. Our teachers and academic staff are experts in various specialised domains, including public values, multilevel governance, public-private partnerships, and EU integration. The programme offers an excellent preparation for a PhD project and an academic career in public administration, but it will also give you that little bit extra to be successful in a competitive labour market for government officials and strategy consultants.
