Leiden University research covers a very broad range of topics in which AI and Data Science are researched and applied, and that lend themselves to collaboration with external parties. Already active AI-collaborations are in the domains of Health, Legal, Governance and Technical Industry, amongst others. We are in a unique position, because not only does Leiden University apply AI technologies, but it has many researchers generating in-depth knowledge about the core principles and methodologies behind AI and data science.
