A strange duck?
A Dutch proverbial saying could call Bram a strange duck in the pond ("vreemde eend in de bijt"), implying that he is somewhat of an outsider in de Media Technology research group. And among the PhD candidates working there, that may be partially true. Bram did not study in
the Media Technology MSc program himself, but has a background in social science and philosophy of science.
Together with his Phd advisor Max van Duijn, he teaches the Research Seminar on Social Technologies to students in the Media Technology program. In that way, he has come to know the program and its students. When we asked Bram to describe the program, this is what he said.
What makes Bram fit well in the Media Technology research group?
