Emma Stekelenburg

Emma is currently a third-year law student at Leiden University.

It always interested her how laws are made and how they impact peoples’ behavior. The reason she wanted to become a part of the Leiden Advocacy Project on Plastic, is that she is looking for ways to minimize the amount of plastic that is being used. She finds it very important to minimize the amount of plastic she uses, but struggles with the lack of practical alternatives. So she wants to know how the law can contribute in ways to minimize the use of plastic.
