Zhenyang started her PhD research at the Industrial Ecology department of CML in September 2019.
Professional experience
Zhenyang holds a B.Eng from Central South University and an M.Eng in Environmental Science and Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. During her master's study, Zhenyang focused on resource recycling technologies on waste electrical and electronic equipment, as well as the related resource management and policy. In addition, she was hired as an Environmental Defense Fund (EDF) Climate Corps fellow to help Kingfisher (China) develop a project on energy efficiency and carbon management across their supply chain.
Research topic
Her current research is focused on evaluating the material requirements for the global energy transition.
