Willem Veerman is an all-round computer specialist who is working on the design and implementation of a modern digital library for the African Studies Centre Leiden. He continues the African bibliographic database website "AfricaBib.org" with information on more than 242.200 social science publications on Africa, and he recreated the "Connecting-Africa" website with information on more than 94.000 publications on Africa present in repositories worldwide.
