Sangar Paykhar holds a BSc in Public Administration from the Faculty of Governance and Global Affairs in The Hague and an MA in Media Studies from the Faculty of Humanities in Leiden. Since 2021, he has served as an Honours Coach at the Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences, guiding students in interdisciplinary learning and development.

Sangar applies generative AI in his courses, guiding students in the Changemakers Lab—where they devise real-world impact projects. In his Strategic Communication and Media Engagement module, he equips Honours students with practical skills for today’s dynamic news and social-media environment.
