Quinten Meertens was an external PhD student at the University of Amsterdam (CeNDEF) and Leiden University (LIACS), working at Statistics Netherlands. On 28 April 2021 he defended his PhD thesis, called Misclassification Bias in Statistical Learning. Prof. dr. Cees Diks (UvA) and prof. dr. Jaap van den Herik (UL) were his promotors and dr. Frank Takes (UL) was his copromotor.
