Marileen Dogterom

Marileen Dogterom is a professor of bionanoscience in the Kavli Institute of Nanoscience at Delft University of Technology. She is affiliated to the Leiden Institute of Physics by an appointment as ‘Medical Delta’ professor. Her research focuses on the physics of the cytoskeleton in cells. She is also leading a national effort to Build a Synthetic Cell (BaSyC).
