Mariet Feltkamp is a professor of Medical Microbiology, representing the Sanquin Blood Supply Foundation. She works at the LUCID (Leiden University Center for Infectious Diseases) department of the LUMC and is affiliated with Sanquin. She conducts research into transfusion and transplant-transmissible viral infections, particularly in immunocompromised patients, and advises Sanquin on donor selection and screening to prevent blood-borne infections.
