Kiara Castaman is a PhD candidate at Leiden University’s Institute of Political Science, exploring Spain’s foreign policy through its narratives about Palestine and Venezuela. She holds an MA in Poverty and Development from the University of Sussex and a BA in Sociology from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru. Before joining the Institute, she worked as an Associate Researcher at the University of Gothenburg in Sweden and has extensive experience as a consultant on systematic reviews and impact evaluations.
