Jens has a background in Clinical Psychology, Sociology and IT. Next to teaching at Leiden University he is also working as a psychologist treating typical first line issues and is specialized in helping clients with (very) high intelligence, other neurodivergencies as well as (ex-)partners of persons suffering from a personality disorder. His current interests are developmental experiences and their impact on mental health, intercultural aspects of psychotherapy as well as the therapeutic relationship in general.
