After a Bachelor in Psychology at Leiden University (2015) and a Research Master in Psychology, focusing on Cognitive Neurosciences (2018), Jennifer Becker started as a junior researcher at the Health, Medical and Neuropsychology unit at Leiden University and aims to pursue a PhD in the future.
Research
Her interests lies in the biological and neurological mechanisms underlying psychological and behavioral phenomena. Currently, she works on psychophysiological mechanisms of attentional processes in acute and chronic itch and pain in healthy participants. She investigates attentional disengagement by means of behavioral tasks, eye-tracking, EEG and somatosensory stimulations.
