Heather Andrews Mancilla has both a Bachelor of Science degree as a Master of Science degree in Astronomy and Astrophysics from the Pontifica Universidad Católica de Chile. She is currently a PhD candidate at the research group Interstellar Matter and Star Formation of the Leiden Observatory.
