Project
Mast cells in cardiovascular disease
- Researcher: Eva Kritikou
Targeting the mast(er) cell: a key player in cardiovascular disease: within this project, we aim to investigate how mast cells are activated during the development of atherosclerosis, with specific emphasis on lipid and IgE induced mast cell activation pathways. This project is funded by the Dutch Heart Foundation as part of the Dr. E. Dekker Senior Postdoc Grant (2012T083) awarded to Dr. I. Bot.
