As part of the research project "Live or let die: the intracellular fate of pathogenic mycobacteria", I will investigate the membrane transport machineries of pathogenic mycobacterial cells inside host tissue using cryo-electron tomography. The aim of my project is to study the structural interaction between microbe and host.
