Bart van der Steen is Head Faculty Liaison & Services at Leiden University Libraries.
He studied history at Leiden University and wrote his PhD at the European University Institute in Florence. Between 2014 and 2020, he worked as a University Lecturer at Leiden University’s Institute of History.
Bart's research and publications focus on: 1.) Radical Youth Movements in Europe after 1968; 2.) Dissident Labor Movements in the Netherlands and Germany between the two World Wars; and 3.) the Social and Political History of Leiden.
