Armon Toubman holds a BSc and MSc in Artificial Intelligence from the VU University Amsterdam. In 2013, he started his PhD research on the topic of using machine learning to generate behaviour for virtual opponents in air combat training simulations. Since then, he has published multiple papers that explore this topic. He is currently writing up his thesis at LIACS and the Netherlands Aerospace Centre, and expects to defend his thesis in 2018.
