My research is focused on unraveling the complex interaction between trees and root-associated microbes. As part of the Silva Nova project, I focus on understanding how microbes boost forest resilience and ensuring that the forest we plant today will flourish into the forests of the future. The key? Using microbes to protect the trees against climate stressors, particularly drought and heat.
