Open Mic on May 27th: Collaboration with Tierra de Nadie
In collaboration with the collective Tierra de Nadie, BOCA invites you to an open mic session on May 27th at Scheltema (Leiden) starting from 18.30. This collaboration is translingual. So: lxs invitamos al open mic en español, wij nodigen jullie uit in het Nederlands, and we invite you in English! While it is not necessary to perform at the open mic to enjoy the event, we encourage written, musical, multilingual, performative, and, above all, collective artistic expressions. Please register below prior to the event!
About Tierra de Nadie
Tierra de Nadie, un colectivo arublés, kosoval, paldestino, mexicango, pargentino, portuñol, brasiloño, cubandés, holandón, hágase desterritorializado, hágase transterritorializado. En Tierra de Nadie no hay lenguas fijas. Entre errantes, mediohispanohablantes sin nación, we build communities through languages, some a version of Spanish.
Wij (¿en jij?), inwoners van Tierra de Nadie, niemandsland, zoeken manieren om ons uit te spreken. Je eigen stem te laten horen, en dat in je eigen taal. En we zoeken manieren om elkaar te horen.
