Anugerah Rizki Akbari (Eki) is a non-permanent lecturer at the Department of Criminology, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, University of Indonesia. He holds an expert panel position at the Institute for Criminal Justice Reform. Eki is also affiliated with the Indonesian Anti-Corruption Commission (KPK) as an editorial board member of their Integritas: Jurnal Antikorupsi.

In the past, Eki was a member of Department of Criminal Law, Faculty of Law, University of Indonesia, and Head of Criminal Law Department at Indonesia Jentera School of Law. He was also a researcher working for the Indonesian Institute for Independent Judiciary (LeIP) and Indonesia Judicial Monitoring Society, Faculty of Law, University of Indonesia (MaPPI FHUI). Previously, Eki holds Bachelor of Law (cum laude) from Faculty of Law, University of Indonesia, and MSc in Crime and Criminal Justice from Leiden Law School.

His PhD research focuses on the formulation of national identity in the new Indonesian Criminal Code and will be supervised by Prof. Adriaan Bedner & Prof. Maartje van der Woude.
