You can apply for the parttime programme in the same way you would apply for the fulltime programme, namely via Studielink. In Studielink, there is a separate option to register for the parttime programme.

More information on the parttime programme can be found here.

Yes it is possible to combine your Vitality & Ageing internship with your 16 weeks (LUMC) Medicine internship. In most cases you will do your 16 week Medicine internship on a V&A topic. Afterwards, you can get exemption for your V&A internship. If you are interested, let us know as soon as possible to discuss the possibilities. For more information you can contact our internship coordinator Carla Bakker C.H.Bakker@lumc.nl.

Yes it is possible to study the Master's Vitality and Ageing besides your job. We recommend you to follow the 2-year parttime programme (± 20 hours a week). The programme is a combination of selfstudy and one mandatory day a week on campus, every Friday.

For more information about the parttime programme, click here.

We think it is important you are able to connect with your fellow students in real life. However, the past years we experienced that there are also advantages of online education, such as added flexibility, online lectures from experts abroad and lesser travel time.

What does this mean? Fulltime students will come together at the LUMC campus three times a week on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays. On Tuesdays you will follow live online lectures. For part-time students, on demand lectures are offered throughout the week, and there will be an on campus day on Fridays. Only in the parttime programme, (international) students who cannot visit the campus, will be offered a solution to join the live education online (hybride).

For more information, you can always send us an email: masterva@lumc.nl
