Heidi is a Master’s student in the European Law programme in Leiden University.
Originally coming from Finland, she completed her Bachelor’s studies in Tallinn University in the spring 2017 and, besides studying, gained experience about legal writing in a law firm. In the Leiden Advocacy Project on Plastics her research concentrates on the regulation of plastics at the European Union level. Currently, she is doing research on the regulation of nanoplastics in the REACH Regulation. She is especially interested in the relationship between environmental law and the internal market of the European Union of which she also wrote her Bachelor’s thesis.
