Contract PhD candidate
Xuechan Ma has been a staff member of the Grotius Centre since September 1st, 2015 as a PhD candidate.
Xuechan studied law at Peking University in China where she obtained her bachelor and master degree, and she also attended courses in Helsinki University in Finland as an exchange program.
Research areas and interests
Her research areas and interests include the law of the sea, territorial dispute settlement, and South China Sea dispute.
